Hi, I’m Dr. Basheerah Ahmad — founder of Bring Joy.
For over 25 years, I’ve helped women reconnect with their bodies through fitness, nutrition, mindset
reprogramming, and nervous system regulation.

I’m not just the expert guiding this challenge.
I’m also a 50-year-old Type-A woman, working too hard, navigating perimenopause, and learning firsthand what happens when your nervous system stays stuck in stress mode for too long.

alignment.
I hold a PhD in Natural Medicine and a Master’s in Exercise Science, and I’ve walked alongside
hundreds of women on this exact journey.
